Renaissance Montessori Academy provides high quality childcare with an exceptional Montessori and active play program in the East Village area of central Calgary. We are dedicated to nurturing and respecting each child as unique and valuable individuals as they grow to become self-confident, caring citizens of the world. Through Montessori philosophy, our students are encouraged to reach their highest potential.

The cornerstone of Renaissance Montessori Academy education is to foster and encourage self-confidence, independence and an inquisitive mind in each child. Being at RMA also assists every child’s social development; children learn to be considerate, respectful and kind human beings.

Our unique blend of Montessori starts from the time children join us as Toddlers and continues through all the stages of their growth and development until they are ready to leave us for primary school. We believe the Montessori Method of education is the best way to prepare a child for a fulfilled life. Montessori has proved highly successful throughout the world, and we provide an authentic, inspiring Montessori education for all our children.

Founder's Message
I am Rania Alshareef, the Founder and Director of Renaissance Montessori Academy. I would like to take the time to personally thank you for your interest in our early childhood programs at Renaissance Montessori Academy. I have dedicated 8 years to teaching and have 10 years of education including a Bachelor of Education degree and Early Childhood Development, Special Education, and a thorough background of Montessori. My vision and passion is to uphold the legacy of Maria Montessori, by providing and implementing a Montessori Education program for families in Calgary.
